The Challenge:

This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack developer who will use their passion for developing software to work with a team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and deliver quality test-driven code. Using Agile methodologies, modern languages and frameworks, Cloud technologies, and microservice-based approaches, you'll work with the development team to build innovative, complex systems. You'll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you're developing considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with software development using Java, Spring, EJBs, and Hibernate

  • Experience with HTML/CSS

  • Experience with version control systems, including Git GitHub, BitBucket, and Gogs or Rational Team Concert

  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, responsive Web design, and CSS preprocessors, including SASS or LESS and frameworks or libraries, such as Bootstrap, Foundation, or the US Web Design Standards

  • Knowledge of JavaScript, including the use of frameworks, such as React or Angular

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Maven, Gradle, Ant or other Java build and dependency management tools

  • Experience with Cloud-computing services, including Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure

  • Experience with container management tool, including Kubernetes

  • Experience with back end Web languages, including Python, Node, PHP, or Ruby

  • Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, or performance management

  • Knowledge of Section 508 compliance
