Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

Position Description

This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining the content infrastructure for Advanced Customer Services (ACS), powered by Oracle Application Express (APEX), as well as Oracle s Web Center, and UCM.

Candidate must be a self-motivated individual with a proven track record indeveloping APEX applications,content management applications, and global websites. This individual should be comfortable collaborating and consultingwith content and business owners, translating business requirements into creative technical solutions, and understanding how to structure and organizecontent to distribute and promote a consistent content structure throughout a global line of business.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience developing applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX)

  • Experience developing portal / internal websites using Oracle WebCenter technologies, HTML, etc.

  • Experience is participating in building project plans, as a tech lead, and deliver on-time results

  • Proficiency in unit, system and regression testing

  • Manage multiple priorities including large and small projects, ongoing updates and enhancements of existing solutions, and environment maintenance

  • Implementing changes to site layout and content based on best-practice standards

  • Understanding of user experience management concepts and solutions, including web experience management, personalization, social networking and collaboration concepts and technologies

  • Working knowledge of content management systems to maintain and distribute content online

  • Deep knowledge of how to capture, structure, and organize content into logical categories

  • Experience building and managing template-based UIs, plus maintaining a consistent look and feel

  • Experience in administration and management of an infrastructure, including backup/recovery, archiving, performance tuning, troubleshooting, documentation, and metrics reporting

  • Proficiency in SQL. PL/SQL and JavaScript experience a plus.

  • Minimum of 3 years developing applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX), working knowledge ofWebCenter Content (UCM),WebCenter Suite,WebLogic Portal (WLP), WebCenter Interaction (WCI), andImportant Soft Skills,such as:

  • Ability to think critically, match patterns, connect the dots

  • Thoroughness with a sharp eye for detail

  • Ability to self-QA as well as QA the work of others

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Extremely organized, with high regard for process and an obsession on quality

Academic Background

  • Bachelor s degree, preferably a technical discipline
