SECTION I: TECHNICAL COMPETENCY

  • Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills;

  • Basic familiarity with construction documents, and a strong motivation to learn more;

  • Basic understanding of the design and procurement processes;

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook;

  • Excellent writing and grammar skills;

  • Understanding of the design and procurement processes;

  • 2-5 years of solid and progressive work history, with experience in providing administrative support to teams;

  • A diploma from an accredited college or university in the areas of design or construction related field preferred (architecture, construction management, engineering, product design, etc.), but not required.

SECTION II: TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION COMPETENCY

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic;

  • Ability to interact professionally with office leadership and design team, and external consultants;

  • Ability to handle stressful situations and multiple deadlines;

  • Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with limited oversight and in stressful situations.

SECTION III: LEADERSHIP

  • Be a good team member;

  • Develop strong relationships within the firm, with our consultants and in our communities
