Medical University of South Carolina UNIV - Patient/Visitor Parking Operations Team Lead Cashier - Parking Management in Charleston, South Carolina

Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Patient Visitor Operations Manager or Assistant Manager, employee performs professional supervisory and managerial duties related to the patient and visitor parking operations unit of the MUSC parking department from 7:00 PM until 3:00 AM and 1 weekend a month. Manages and supervises primarily second-shift employees who are engaged in an exit cashiering parking operation and who are responsible for entry of ticket transactions, preparation of remittance advice (shift) reports, preparation and accounting of daily deposits and change-fund monies, and accounting of all processed ticket transactions.

Keeps all interactions positive, displays a good spirit of service, cooperation and professionalism with direct reports (Parking Attendants), peers, Supervisor and customers while providing quality service and exceeding customer expectations; prevents and resolves customer issues in a timely and effective manner to maintain customer confidence.

Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 3: $22,182.00 - $31,614.00 - $41,046.00 (min - mid - max)

FLSA: Hourly

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent education.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred: Cashier duties with both cash and card transactions; customer service skills; effective communication skills. Ability to sit/stand for at least 6 hours a day. Must have a valid SC driver's license.
