Job Summary: Videographer to develop internally-executed video projects as assigned to ensure end product aligns with the MUSC strategic vision, supports identified brand strategy goals, elevates MUSC brand/associated sub-brands and drives customer preference for MUSC services. Manage the video assets and their distribution channeling to ensure appropriate embedded formats are available and searchable for multi-channeled distribution within internal MUSC systems. Serve as highly-engaged project manager for assigned projects/tasks in order to deliver excellent customer service.

Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 5: $33,494.00 - $47,734.00 - $61,975.00 (min - mid - max)

Job Duties:

  • 35% - Develop internally-executed video projects as assigned to ensure end product aligns with the MUSC strategic vision, supports identified brand strategy goals, elevates MUSC brand/associated sub-brands and drives customer preference for MUSC services. - (Essential)

Preferred Experience & Additional Skills: Two year degree in video/film production, radio/TV broadcasting, or related field and three years of experience in film/broadcast/video production will be accepted in lieu of the Bachelor's degree. Skills include video project management, advanced post-production competency, lighting, audio, staging, set preparation and dressing. Ability to work within a team to produce video for digital mediums.

Experience with professional editing software & DSLR cameras use and understanding of compression, codecs and output procedures is needed. Basic knowledge of the production and post production process and technical understanding of camera operation, lighting, audio capture and editing is required.

Experience with Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, Nikon products and photography skill set is a strong plus.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree in media arts, photojournalism, information services or education and one year of entry-level work experience in a related field; or, a high school diploma and five years of journey-level work experience in a related field.
