YMCA of Greenville Paddle Sports Coordinator in Cleveland, South Carolina

The Paddle Sports Coordinator will be responsible for all watercraft activities at camp including canoeing, kayaking, and stand up paddle boards. This person will also assist with lifeguarding at our waterfront.

  • Manages all paddle sports programming including canoeing, kayaking, and stand up paddle boarding.

  • Assists with the planning, directing, and supervision of a safe and fun waterfront program.

  • Properly opens, performs daily tasks, and closes the boathouse each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Manage/upkeep all gear in the boathouse including all watercrafts, PFDs, and paddles/oars.

  • Work with Waterfront Coordinator to assure proper safe practices between waterfront and boathouse.

  • Support Cabin Leader staff when not in program area and fill in for Cabin Leaders as needed.

  • Lifeguard.

  • CPR/First Aid Certified.

  • Experience lifeguarding in a waterfront setting.

Preferred:

  • LGI.
