SECTION I: TECHNICAL COMPETENCY
Technical production skills are necessary and require a demonstrated ability to effectively produce design and construction documents;
7+ years of design experience, architecture firm experience a plus;
Understanding of relevant codes such as state building codes, FGI Healthcare Guidelines, NFPA, IBC, ANSI 117.1, BOMA;
Proficiency with graphics software such as Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, EnScape, and/or other 3D imaging software preferred;
Possession of a strong moral and ethical responsibility to the principles of sustainability;
Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills;
Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills;
Understanding of the design and procurement processes;
Knowledge of spatial planning, ergonomics, and interior furnishings and materials;
NCIDQ Certification preferred;
LEED Accreditation is a plus;
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from a CIDA-accredited interior design program or equivalent field of study.

Work is performed primarily in a standard office setting.
