SC Department of Public Safety Human Services Coordinator I in Dorchester County, South Carolina

Job Responsibilities

This position will be located at the Summerville Police Department.

Under limited supervision, provides clinical assessments and therapeutic services for children, adolescents, adults, and their families who have interacted with local law enforcement agencies. This position will service children, adults, and families who have witnessed or experienced violence or who have other mental health needs.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

STATE: A Bachelor's degree and professional experience in human services or social services programs.

INT: A Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited program, university, or college in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling or other behavioral discipline deemed equivalent by SCDMH and two (2) years of post-graduate experience in a clinical counseling program.
