This is a night shift assembly position. Shift hours are Monday-Thursday 4pm to 2am with potential for overtime on Friday, as needed. Starting pay is $15.81 per hour. Employees will train on day shift for a period of time and then move to their night shift assignment. Once on night shift, employees receive a $1.00 per hour adder.
Summary: Performs pump assembly, testing and painting functions in a team environment while following quality and safety system procedures.
Builds process pumps according to the bill of materials and work instructions
Performs hydrostatic tests and pump performance tests according to the work instructions
Paints pumps and spare parts according to the order and work instructions
Performs all the in-process quality inspections as described in the quality plans and work instructions
Follows quality procedures according to ISO 9001.

All employees have "the right and duty to intervene" in the event a safety concern becomes evident. In addition, acceptance of an intervention should be accepted in a positive manner as it could have prevented an accident.
All employees are required to comply with all work instructions, policies, and posted signs or instructions regarding safety, including but not limited to proper use of required PPE at all times.
Participates in 5S and housekeeping assignments
Takes part in the Preventive Maintenance program
Assists other team members as directed, including training and assisting less experienced coworkers
Performs other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED;
Must be able to work in both English and Metric dimensioning
Must have good people skills and the ability to solve problems in a team environment
Must be able to lift 50 lbs (excess of 50 lbs, use of slings, hoist or cranes required)
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (up to 12hrs)
Must be able to don required PPE for all operations included in the scope of this job including painting (some protective equipment may present problems for persons with claustrophobia or asthma)
