Director of Telehealth (IT-Telehealth)
Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
Under administrative direction, leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive telehealth environment and services strategy to support the vision and mission of McLeod Health.
Provides energetic, creative and imaginative leadership to the Telehealth department, program and staff.
Serves as leader in a coordinating role between customers, clinical departments and telehealth staff for problem resolution and project evaluation.
Coordinates systems support, which includes design, implementation, documentation, and training for new telehealth programs.
Manages Telehealth Coordinator team to deliver innovative ways to better serve customers and patients by means of available Telehealth technologies;
Works with Telehealth and clinical teams to report metrics that measure the success of programs and outcomes of patients served.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in clinical service or clinical systems support.
Experience in telehealth system management preferred
Problem solving and performance improvement skills
Knowledge of Electronic Health Record systems.
Written and Oral communication skills with persons of all ages and diverse backgrounds
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.

Physical requirements include the ability to use a computer, speak clearly and write legibly. Requires long hours of sitting using computer equipment. Travel to remote sites and occasional overnight travels.
