The Corporate Maintenance Specialist is a SME in Crane and Heavy Equipment and shall ensure the readiness, safety and compliance of all Company lifting equipment and similar appliances. The principal responsibility is to evaluate, implement, monitor and audit the preventative and recertification maintenance of the Company’s lifting equipment (such as cranes and aerial lifts) in accordance with all required regulations, best industry practices and Company policy requirements. Responsibilities will also generally include, cost planning and tracking related to fleet operating expense planning for crane maintenance and re-certification.
The Corporate Maintenance Specialist will have a working knowledge of Work Management and best practices in equipment maintenance. Will assist with instruction in: preventative maintenance forecasting, planning, scheduling and budgeting, emergency situations and any other special projects that may arise. This position will also be the gatekeeper for the 6 Steps of Work Management methodology and ensure the implementation and compliance of internal Maintenance SOP’s.
The Corporate Maintenance Specialist is tasked with Global Warranty tracking, reporting and pursuing claims with OEMs, as well as liaison with Finance. The position collaborates with global site managers. Oversee and continually improve the effectiveness of AMECO’s Global warranty system and its associated core processes, i.e., claim data analysis, debit management, contract review, part return analysis and lessons learned implementation. Manage and continually develop and enhance the skills of the regional warranty departments, as well as ensure the establishment of cross-functional warranty teams for the effective and timely execution of the core warranty processes. Receive and communicate manufacturer recalls. Additionally, the Warranty Specialist will be the SME for customer warranty knowledge within the region.
