Electrical Engineering Intern

Duties provide meaningful work experience and business knowledge to college students in their chosen field. Uses prior experience to perform less routine aspects of assigned projects under close supervision, following established procedures. Has a basic understanding of the techniques, procedures, methods and the nature of the position.
Performs routine aspects of engineering requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles under close supervision
May use computer-assisted engineering software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
Collects and prepares data for evaluation
May assist in the coordination of projects from conception (feasibility) through final plan preparations
Handles various administrative duties
Provides support to staff members as needed
Prior experience as an intern in the Electrical Engineering field is required
Completed Junior year of classes
Effective oral and written communication skills required
Good organizational and interpersonal skills required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
