RR Donnelley - is seeking a motivated Account Executive based in the Southeast working with our Upstate, South Carolina Commercial and Digital Print facilities.

Candidates should be comfortable with cold calling, lead generation, networking and building a book of business locally, regionally, and nationally.

RR Donnelley’s Account Executives are the day-to-day contacts with our customers delivering our print/technology solution suite. They provide the right solution to our customers and prospects through a consultative/solutions orientated approach. They maintain and grow their customer base and increase revenue by qualifying customer needs and recommending solutions in the form of high-quality products and services. Account Executives sell in a business-to-business environment within many key industries. Account Executives will be able to offer customers unique, valuable programs through our local and national print solutions.

RRD’s Upstate SC facility is a designated RRD Healthcare Center of Excellence, cGMP compliant, and offers on-site programming, inkjet web, intelligent mailing, sheet fed and digital printing; producing everything from complex, national print, kitting/fulfillment and mailing programs, to standard commercial offerings such as: stitched brochures, perfect binding, cut & stack label offerings, packaging, and e-commerce solutions. Responsibilities Include

  • Represent RR Donnelley in a manner that addresses the customers’ print & technology needs by aligning our products and services in the form of a customer value-based “bundled solution.”

  • Deliver effective presentations at the executive level to gain customer engagement.

  • Prepare sales strategies that reflect the needs assessment for key opportunities.

  • Develop appropriate product, services and technology solutions for targeted accounts.

  • Achieve new business goals by identifying and developing strategic opportunities and selling technology-centric solutions to mid-market companies.

  • Develop and grow assigned territory while achieving all targeted revenue goals through self-owned account development.

  • Work with a team of Customer Service Representatives to enhance the customer experience.

  • Prospect to find and cultivate the proper customer target base.

  • Develop action plans to convert qualified prospects to active customers.

Required Skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong communication level within all facets of delivering a message, excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills, both verball and written, to include networking, cold calling, group/individual presentations and contract negotiation.

  • Ability to deliver innovative technology based solutions General knowledge of basic software programs such as MS Office and CRM database systems.

  • Ability to develop effective relationships internally and externally.

  • Ability to develop and comfortably present complex information to executive level audiences.

  • Strong business acumen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly organized, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently with little or no instruction, as well as an ability to work in a team setting.

  • Salesforce CRM or ability to develop the skillsets to adopt quickly

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing a key account territory from a zero base with a demonstrated track record of revenue plan performance or comparable experience.

  • Must have a proven track record of closing significant new business directly and consistently.
