CPI Security Sales Representative – New Construction in Greenville, South Carolina

Description

The world of New Construction is booming! Be a part of it!! We are looking for a New Construction Sales Representative who is self-motivated and ready to manage a builder account. This person would be responsible for successfully managing the individual homesites as well as the design consultations of each home. The opportunity is there to drive new customer account revenue through the sale of Security, home automation, and low voltage solutions to new homeowners. This is an opportunity to earn a great performance -based income while providing a high level of service to our customers and builders.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Call on homeowners that have purchased homes from builders that participate in the CPI Builder program

  • Manage sales center relationships in communities using our services

  • Work with individuals building a new home to assist with their needs

  • Prospect in new construction areas not serviced by CPI Security

  • Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions within company standards and guidelines to meet or exceed sales expectations

  • Identify, develop and maintain positive builder relationships

  • Locate and attend builder sales events and production meetings to create additional account generation opportunities

  • Maintain excellence in all customer relations according to company best practices and core values

  • Meet all expectations regarding customer service best practices

  • Actively participate in local Homebuilders Association (HBA)

Job Requirements/Experience :

  • High school diploma

  • 1-2 years of outside sales experience preferred, but will train the right individual

  • Highly driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic, and a high degree of integrity

  • Strong time-management, organizational and prioritization abilities

  • Knowledge of local market

  • Strong selling knowledge and skills that include previous experience with door knocking and cold calling.

  • Must be able to close a sale

  • Demonstrates strong communications skills and professional credibility to influence sales leaders and professionals.

  • Detail-oriented, creative, and decisive.

  • Ability to adopt to quick business changes.

  • Working with a CRM system (i.e. Salesforce) is a plus
