Aerotek Ramp Agent in Greer, South Carolina
Currently hiring 6+ ramp agents to work onsite at the Greenville Airport. Must be willing to submit to all compliance necessary to work on airport grounds.
The primary assignment will be pushing BUPs (aircraft cargo pallets) on the ball deck, un netting selected BUPs that we have to break down and load onto semi-trucks. If they have forklift certification, it’s possible that they could load freight onto trucks. If they have logistics experience/exposure, that’s a plus but not necessary.
The big thing is that they be dependable, hardworking, committed to working safely, and be able to work as a part of a team.
Physical requirements: Use of personal protective equipment is required (we will supply everything but steel toed shoes, which are required). Will be exposed to the weather elements. Must possess the ability to perform strenuous physical activities such as lifting, pushing and pulling items weighing 70 pounds or more, engage in sustained physical exertion and perform arduous work under adverse conditions.
Exposed to normal office, warehouse and aviation environment.
