Roper St. Francis Healthcare Admin Clin Value Analysis in Ladson, South Carolina

Job Summary:

Performs functions necessary to plan and direct the clinical value analysis function for the System designed to maximize cost effective utilization of supply resources. Responsible for the advancement and coordination of standardization, utilization and compliance with contracts for medical/surgical/diagnostic supplies and minor equipment throughout the System. Serves as an advisor to senior nursing/clinical leadership and acts as a liaison to physicians, nursing and other clinical staff. Coordinates the Value Analysis Program. Facilitates product selection through multiple working committees (Both within Roper St. Francis as well as working with our Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) Specialty teams). Collaborates with system clinical staff and medical staff in the development of clinical pathways. Acts as a professional/clinical interface between physicians, clinicians, and the materials department. Assists with the implementation and monitoring of supply contracts. Reviews and resolves any product quality issues. Coordinates the RSFH product recall system and the bone and tissue tracking program.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education: BSN required, or RN with an equivalent combination of educational/managerial experience. Masters degree preferred.

Experience: At least 5 years of advanced Nursing experience (Management/Supervisor/Leadership) or experience supporting nursing management with clinical, financial, and budgetary issues. Experience with financial analysis of a revenue generating clinical department preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina or holds a current compact/multi-state license as a Registered Nurse in a recognized NCSBN Compact State and is not a permanent resident of SC.

Knowledge/Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows environment. Self directed and able to work independently. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated strong knowledge of medical supplies and products used in hospitals and healthcare systems.
