Adecco Staffing Operations Manager-SC in Landrum, South Carolina

Adecco has partnered with a local client in their search of an Operations Manager to join their exciting organization! The ideal candidate will have responsibility of managing the logistics of the organization, developing inventories and budgets and responsible for leading the continuous improvement initiatives for various departments. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive base salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities of the Operations Manager are:

  • Enhance the operational procedure, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes and enhanced management reporting.

  • Organize and intensify efficiency support services by ameliorating functions and coordinating communication between businesses and support functions.

  • Perform a meaningful role in long-term planning and establishment initiatives aimed at operational distinction.

  • Supervise overall planning systems, financial management and control.

  • Perform organizational roles that ensure that protection regulations are followed

  • Supervise the customer service units and ensure that they are in line with customer satisfaction objectives

  • Reevaluate customer related statistics and data.

  • Training new employees, as well as managing departmental initiatives.

  • Support development of, refine and document claims department policies and practices. Develop and promote adoption within the organization of claims best practices.

  • Implement smooth, speedy and efficient workflow while coordinating with all departments to review and ensure successful implementation and ongoing process maintenance and support.

  • Assist in problem-solving on related topics between user departments, service departments and vendors.

  • Conducts Root Cause Analysis meetings to correct or improve our products and services.

  • Oversee the weekly safety meetings and assign topics as necessary.

  • Approve and document all attendance requirements and time off request for direct reports.

  • Monitor, correct and approve payroll hours bi-weekly, limiting overtime for direct reports.

  • Perform yearly evaluations for direct reports.

    QUALIFICATIONS of the Operations Manager are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain & Logistics or relevant business degree

  • 5 plus years of operations management experience

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written

  • Leadership experience managing multiple team members

  • Experience in lean methodologies

  • Project management experience preferred
