KeyMark Senior Business Analyst in Liberty, South Carolina
The position of a Technical Business Analyst (TBA) is a highly specialized position with its own unique set of challenges and responsibilities. The main responsibility is to be the liaison between the customer?s business team and the KeyMark Professional Services team. The TBA elicits information from the customer in order to understand business requirements, translating these into our software requirements, use cases and testing parameters. The TBA will work alongside Project Managers and Systems and Integration Engineers to manage the requirements data, build traceability matrices between the requirements and the solution design, write test plans for the requirements, and work with the customer throughout the testing phases to report and document defects.
Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or any related
Strongly prefer more than 3 years as an IT business systems analyst
3-5 years of IT industry experience
3 years of IT consulting experience
Enterprise Content Management experiences a plus
Collect and analyze the customer?s business requirements and create a Functional Specification that facilitates knowledge transfer to the technical team.
Evaluate the data collected through task analysis, business process surveys and customer workshops in order to make the appropriate recommendations.
Provide suggestions to the engineering and development team during the design and build stages of the solution to meet the client?s business needs.
Prepare accurate and detailed documents such as: user interface guides in the form of system testing documents and defect reports.
Communicate effectively with external clients and internal teams.
Work with Systems and Integration Engineers in designing a solution that is traceable to the functional requirements.
Work directly with Project Managers regarding any change requests related to the working project plans to meet the agreed deliverables.
Conduct regular meetings with project stakeholders.
Work closely with internal resources, 3rd party vendors, and customers to define project priorities, manage requirements, and assess business processes.
Develop and maintain an ability to speak to hardware requirements, network infrastructure, integration points, software requirements, and services offerings.
Identify and document project risks.
Be the backup for the Project Manager.
Facilitate and at times be called to provide solution training to the customer.
To complete the job responsibilities and duties described previously, the TBA is expected to travel on business 25% ? 50% percentage of working time.
