Job Responsibilities Provides outpatient mental health services to TCCMHC patients using diverse treatment interventions and methods, such as individual, family, and group therapies, assessments, crisis interventions, and case management. Meets agency productivity standards. Acts in a culturally competent manner. Ensures all assigned caseloads and clinical records are in accordance with SCDMH Quality Assurance (QA) standards. Adheres to Corporate Compliance policies and procedures. Utilizes collaborative documentation to facilitate effective and efficient provision of therapeutic services. Attends and participates in clinical treatment team staffing as scheduled. Attends total staffing, total clinical training, and other required meetings. Participates in assigned intra-agency committees. Performs other related duties as required or assigned. Minimum and Additional Requirements State Minimum Requirements: A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field. *Agency Minimum Requirements: * A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in human services or social services. Preferred Qualifications Licensure eligible in specific field of study. Knowledge of and ability to assess for treatment needs, develop complex treatment plans, and provide effective clinical interventions, including crisis intervention and individual, group, and family therapies. Knowledge of casework practices. Ability to organize and maintain a caseload. Knowledge of legal principles and practices. Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws or regulations pertaining to social service programs.
