  • OnsiteMechanical personnel to support onsite CA servicesand to monitor the daily construction process of these trades during theinstallation of all critical systems.

  • Candidatesshould have a minimum of a trade Masters License and 10+ years of criticalinfrastructure installation experience.

  • The selectedindividuals should have extensive field knowledge and a full understandingof the critical mechanical systems that are to be installedat the MNK6A data center. They should be familiar with industry standardinstallation practices for systems the will be overseeing.


  1. Dailymonitoring of all mechanical installations during the construction phaseof the client's data center building .

  2. Providedaily reports to onsite CA engineer for development of weekly punch list.

  3. Provideadvance notice of potential issues that would or could become problematicover the course of the installations.

  4. Providesupport and guidance as needed to help support the installation of themechanical systems to avoid future issues. This should be communicated toboth the on-site CA, the Owner and the General Contractor.

  5. Workwith the owners commissioning agents to ensure contractors commissioningpractices are up to industry standards.

  6. Verifyinstallation of all electrical equipment supplied by the owner and by thegeneral contractor is installed per codes and industry standards.

  7. Verifyschedule on a weekly basis for tracking listed activities and notify theowner of discrepancies.

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

Manages 3rd party project delivery resources/team. Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating team members.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study. Minimum (4) four years of related experience and/or training.


PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.


Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.


Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.


Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.


Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
