Merry Maids of the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach, SC is now hiring for the role of Branch Manager. This is a leadership position for a seasoned, self-starter individual with the work ethic, follow-through, time management, employee coaching and development skills as well as a strong outward display of leadership commitment to bring success to the branch. Previous service industry experience is a must (hotel industry, fast food, etc.)!Our Branch Manager is responsible for the recruitment, hiring, and supervision of all field level staff members, overseeing customer acquisition and customer retention through sales consultations and quality assurance inspections, relationship building, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for an individual with a strong can-do attitude, and determined commitment who is a self-starter, experienced supervisor who understands how to lead a staff of 15+ line-level employees. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proven track record of effective leadership and management, and a stepping stone for career growth for the right individual into a multi-location, regional position.The right candidate must be available to work Monday thru Friday from 7:00A - 6:00P. As with any management job though, you are expected to put in the time needed to excel at your job, which may mean some nights and weekends if needed. You must have a reliable automobile that can be used for work, a positive attitude, and exceptional work ethic. This is a fast-paced environment, best suited for high energy individuals that is a quick learner with the ability to multitask.Applicants must have the following qualities and qualifications:1. Outstanding telephone skills - The ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with customers, employees, potential customers, and applicants. Must be comfortable speaking in a confident manner that communicates a commitment to customer service and satisfaction. Must have experience dealing with customer inquires, complaints, and problem resolution.2. Leadership - Understands the importance of reliability, determination, and displays a "can-do" attitude that sets the example for others. Does not require hands-on management by supervisor(s) and can be counted on to get the job done with excellence. Looks for opportunities to encourage and develop others. Looks for ways to, and is committed to the growth of the company. Looks for opportunities to take initiative. Is effective and efficient at providing instructions to others. Works hard, but also gets things done.3. Work Ethic - Understands the importance of reliability and loyalty. Works to set and achieve personal and company goals. Believes that work is work, and personal is personal. Does not conduct personal business during work hours, and when at work gives it their all. Does not waste work time on FaceBook, personal e-mail, personal phone calls, personal cell phone, etc.4. Attention To Detail (Quality of work) - Does the job right the first time. Has keen attention to detail and thoroughness to complete responsibilities in a thorough and accurate manner. Doesn't require reminding and prompting from supervisor(s) to get the job done.5. Follows Company Standards and Expectations - Follows company guidelines with regards to policies, procedures, and expectations and is able to communicate these effectively.6. Professionalism - Speaks, dresses, and portrays a confident and professional image (physically and verbally) that reflects the professional expectations of the company. Can communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner.7. Computer Skills - Is experienced and comfortable using a computer and internet-based programs such as e-mail, spreadsheets, calendars, CSM programs, HR programs, etc. Is accurate with typing, spelling, and enters data accurately.8.
