Receptionist/Office Clerk

We are seeking a Receptionist/Office Clerk for a temp-to-permanent job opening in North Charleston, SC. The position schedule with be Monday-Friday working 7am-4:30pm. The pay is $14-$15 an hour based on applicable education and experience.

Responsibilities:

In this position, you will provide general office support along with human resources clerical support to the HR Manager. Duties will include:

OFFICE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greets visitors and routes them to the appropriate location or person as needed

Answers phones, routes callers, takes & delivers messages

Sorting and filing production documents

Maintains inventory of office supplies and requests additional supplies to be purchased by the procurement manager

Maintains stock of office snacks, drinks, kitchen supplies, etc.

On an as needed basis, schedules lunch to be catered for visitors and front office employees

Distributes incoming mail and packages

May also assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, scanning, emailing, and scheduling

HUMAN RESOURCES RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist recruiting efforts & on-boarding

Assist in the completion of daily, weekly and monthly tasks such as invoice approvals, temporary employees timesheet approval, etc.

Sorting and filing personnel documents

Assist in employee benefits administration

Working hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Required Qualifications:

2 years minimum of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft suite and other computer programs

H/R experience is a plus. While this is an office environment it can become fast paced with heightened emotions and stress. The ideal candidate will be able to juggle multiple priorities, handle long hours at a desk, frequent bending and stooping, some lifting and carrying as well as having good directional skills.
