Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Asset Management Plan to define the Department's 10-year investment priorities for pavements, bridges, and other system performance needs. Responsible for processes to establish, monitor and update target setting for assets and system performance. Ensures compliance with prescribed, federal regulations and other state required performance reporting. Facilitates coordination between Intermodal Planning, Engineering and Finance Departments. Facilitates coordination with Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) to comply with federal performance management requirements. Coordinates with Councils of Governments (COGs) and other stakeholders as necessary to implement performance management. Responsible for documenting planning processes for asset and performance management. Assists with integrating performance management objectives with the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) budgeting process. Defines STIP performance outcomes. Manages consultant contracts as required. Assists with the management and development of the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS). Assists with the development of the Statewide Multimodal Transportation Plan. Assists with oversight of data and data systems used to report performance. Assists in coordinating data sharing and access for MPOs and COGs. Provides assistance to the Director of Planning. Acts on behalf of the Director of Planning as needed. Performs other related job duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A bachelor's degree and five (5) years of relevant program management experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.
