- POSITION PURPOSE: To work with the Risk Manager traveling to all school locations while based out of our District office in Beaufort. Working with school personnel, facilities, maintenance and contractors.
Testing for lead levels in potable water at school sites
Obtaining air samples for indoor air quality analysis
Injury prevention activities such as sidewalk surveys
ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Risk Manager, Director of Personnel, Human Resources Officer, Chief Administrative and Human Resources Services Officer and Superintendent. QUALIFICATIONS:
Flexible to changes in the work schedule/extended.
Strong personal and professional integrity and ability to work independently.
Well-developed written and verbal communication.
Proficient use of Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be able to read and write, and communicate effectively in English
Willing to follow and enforce governmental regulatory procedures, industry practices, and have a strong understanding and willingness to follow and enforce safety procedures.
High school diploma or GED required
Enrolled in a related university program
Valid driver license and reliable transportation required
