  • ¬†¬†POSITION PURPOSE: To work with the Risk Manager traveling to all school locations while based out of our District office in Beaufort. Working with school personnel, facilities, maintenance and contractors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Testing for lead levels in potable water at school sites

  • Obtaining air samples for indoor air quality analysis

  • Injury prevention activities such as sidewalk surveys

    ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Risk Manager, Director of Personnel, Human Resources Officer, Chief Administrative and Human Resources Services Officer and Superintendent. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Flexible to changes in the work schedule/extended.

  • Strong personal and professional integrity and ability to work independently.

  • Organized.

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Local travel

  • Must be able to read and write, and communicate effectively in English

  • Willing to follow and enforce governmental regulatory procedures, industry practices, and have a strong understanding and willingness to follow and enforce safety procedures.

    EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Enrolled in a related university program

  • Valid driver license and reliable transportation required
