Innovative Foodservice Group Sales Manager — Woodruff, SC in Woodruff, South Carolina

We are hiring a full-time sales manager in Woodruff, SC. In this position you will be working in a collaborative environment and helping direct our team of territory sales representatives. As a sales manager you will also be hiring additional skilled sales representatives for areas where no representation currently exist. With this expansion and responsibility, the sales manager should expect to develop, manage and maintain a high-performance sales force.

Key Expectations:

Represent the company with a comprehensive knowledge of our products and capabilities.

Recruit sales representatives, set quotas, expectations and objectives, train and motivate, or replace non-performing sales personnel.

Maintain regular contact with sales reps, monitor performance and insure assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled.

Achieve company objectives through effective planning, sales goals, analysis of performance data, and projecting future performance.

Contact inactive customers, generate leads and close own deals.

Build open and cultivate National Account Customers by understanding and fulfilling their needs.

Research consumer demands and identify how our products meet them and identify new products to sell

Assist General Manager as necessary to accomplish company goals.

Skills and Qualifications:

3+ years in sales management within the foodservice/hospitality industry. (preferably tabletop)

Experience of managing a national network of independent sales reps.

Proven track record of success in prospecting and generating personal sales at levels above quotas.

Experience of developing National Accounts

Enthusiastic and goal oriented.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Good computer skills: Excel, MS Word and Outlook.

Ability to travel at least +20% of the time.

Compensation:

Salary + Commission + Performance Bonus
